Home Up

It is difficult to get pictures that really give a feel for the inside of the flat, but we'll give it a try.  This is the floor plan laid out in Home Architect showing the placement of all the furniture.  Hopefully this will make the layout a bit easier to visualize.  And, yes, it is only 1500 sq. ft.

Here is the entry area as seen from just outside the front door:

This is the living room.  Note the gas fireplace that simulates a coal (rather than wood) fire!

Here is the dining room.  Just out of frame on the left is the china cabinet.   And yes, that's another working gas fireplace!

The kitchen is especially difficult to photograph.  This shot shows the washer and the dryer (both under the counter), the microwave, the oven, the refridgerator (about 10 cu. sq. ft.) and one of the two freezers (beneath the refridgerator).

This view shows the black marble countertop and the cooktops.  We have two gas and two electric burners.

This is the master bedroom.  It is just big enough for our king-sized bed and Sandy's dresser.  This view lets you see the large mirror and some of Sandy's closets.  This may not be the largest flat in town, but it does have ample closet space - a real rarity here in London.

And, of course, we have Michael's computer room.  Not quite as nice a setup as we had in Roswell, but at least all the equipment fits!  In addition to the computer, this small room also has the NordicTrack, Michael's dresser, and two closets with all of his clothes (Sandy took all of the space in the Master).
